There are such an amazing mix of characters in Kindred: The Embraced.
Taking bits from various different vampire mythologies, an intricate
social tapestry is woven and in this section I hope to introduce them.
Each character page is divided into three parts.
At the top is basic information; names, birth and death
dates and family history, clan affiliations and other factual information.
This is based on information given in the series and a few assumptions.
Beneath that is a basic, hopefully unbiased, profile of
the character. The profiles are based primarily on information given by
the long dead Official Kindred: The Embraced website, but expanded upon
and fleshed out from the episodes themselves.
The final section is where I write entirely my own
perceptions and opinions of the characters; examine their motivations and
speculate about their histories as well as speaking my mind about some of
their less than appealing personality flaws. Let me say again, these are
my opinions, and I don't expect other fans to agree or like what I have to
say in some cases. I don't claim to be right, just to have opinions, that
do change from time to time when I notice something new.
I hope you enjoy the section. Please feel free to point
out factual mistakes, and glaring inaccuracies in the information, and
I'll correct them if backed up with reliable sources.
Currently only the principle characters are complete,
but I hope to follow up soon with a similar treatment of the guest cast.
For now you can get an idea of who will be included by going to the guests
section at the bottom of the character menu.
